I watched a documentary at the weekend (ON YOGA The Architecture of Peace) which got me thinking about the concept of 'a moment that hangs in the air', or as French photographer Henri Cartier-Bresson described it – The decisive moment.

I'm fascinated by the idea of mapping decision making, and capturing the moments decisions are made. It's constant and endless I know. The map for each of us would quickly become a complex arrangement for sure, or a beautiful picture.

But it is a reminder all the same to be present, to appreciate each turn you take, new beginnings and changes in direction too, small moments and decisions as well as the big ones.

A quote by Cardinal de Retz in the preface of Cartier-Bresson’s photobook reads: “There is nothing in this world that does not have a decisive moment.”
