Creativity has the power to cultivate change

This is something I've spoken about quite a bit with Make Your Mark workshops and my conversations around creativity. Making art isn't the magic bullet for everyone and everything, but tuning into our intuition and expressing ourselves is an empowering way to feel, to problem solve and to connect with others.
This article that I read today on the World Economic Forum website, is by an artist and written in 2016. So whilst it's not new, it does capture what I mean when I talk about the power of creativity to cultivate change. Change for us as individuals, but also for our wider groups, be that a work team, community group or wider still.
Art can motivate people turn thinking into doing.
It can make the world felt.
